The fourth thematic forum of World Expo, Shanghai -- "environmental change and urban responsibility" will be held in Nanjing, Jiangsu, in from July 3rd to 4th.

The forum was co sponsored by the Ministry of environmental protection of People's Republic of China, China Meteorological Administration, China National Energy Bureau, China Shanghai World Expo Executive Committee in 2010, the United Nations Environment Programme and the Nanjing municipal government. The purpose of this forum is to explore the three main responsibilities of the government, enterprises and citizens in the city, and how to work together to cope with the challenges of environmental change through division and cooperation.

The official website of the Expo will broadcast the opening ceremony and the General Assembly on 3 th.


It is reported that the theme forum on "environmental change and urban responsibility" will last for a day and a half, including an opening plenary session, six parallel sub forums and a closing summary conference.
